What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your rental appointment 48 hours or more prior to the appointment day, a full refund will be issued.
If the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the appointment date, a partial (50%) refund will be issued.
No-show and/or no-call participants will be charged full price. This includes showing up with less paddlers than the original amount booked for.
Downstream Kayak Rentals & Delivery will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, trips may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to safety issues. If this is the case, your reservation will be refunded in full.
Cancellations must be done by phone if less than 72 hours prior to appointment date. We accept email cancellations as long as they are at least 4 days prior to the scheduled day. You will receive a reply once your trip has been cancelled.
We also reserve the right to change or cancel any tours due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, Downstream Kayak Rentals & Delivery can refund the reservation price, not any other expenses that may have been incurred
What should I bring?
All of your kayak related items will be provided, but we highly recommend you bring with you the following; plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Does any of the locations require permits or parking passes?
Several of our designated locations are free to park for the day. Others require a parking pass that can be purchased on site as you enter the park for several dollars per car. Or through the Park Mobile parking app. If you need any assistance please let us know.
What kinds of wildlife may we encounter?
Florida is home to many species of birds, fish and other aquatic animals. Closer to the ocean you could have a chance to see dolphins, manatees, many different species of birds and plenty of fish that are native to Florida. At several of the more inland locations, you can continue to see a large variety of Florida native birds, land animals like armadillo, diamondback terrapin, and even some American Alligators. They loves to have photos taken of them, but please don't interact or feed any of the beautiful animals.
What form of payment do you take?
We accept Mastercard, AMEX, Visa, Discover, Apple pay and Google Pay through Stripe.
Where is your Liability Waiver?
Our liability Waiver is online here and needs to be completed for all participants prior to arriving at the selected launching location. It will also be included with your confirmation email when you book.
